Cultural Care Au Pair is proud to share that Argentinian au pair Antonella Arnau has been chosen as the 2023 Au Pair of the Year by the International Au Pair Association (IAPA)!
To highlight the incredible impact au pairs make on their American host families, IAPA hosts this competition each year. Host families share why they love their au pairs through a written essay and video, and IAPA reviews a small number of them submitted by member agencies.
Ever since she joined the Serfaty family of Indiana in March of 2021, Anto has made a positive impact on everyone she’s met. In their “Au Pair of the Year” nomination essay, the Serfaty family described the incredible relationship they have built with Anto, including how she supported the family through host mom Jessica’s 3-month premature birth of their baby boy, Asher. During Jessica and Asher’s 103 days in the hospital, Anto took the time to learn how to take care of Asher and bonded with their 3-year-old son through a very challenging time for the family.
