Cultural Craft for Kids: Mother’s Day fingerprint card

May 6, 2014

An American woman named Anna Jarvis founded Mother’s Day in the early 1900’s to honor her own mother. Now Mother’s Day is celebrated all over the world. In honor of Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 11th, Cultural Care Au Pair celebrates all of our host moms who are not only a loving mother to their family, but also a mentor, friend and mother figure to their au pair.

  • Mother’s Day fingerprint card template
  • Ink pads in different colors

Print out the template on light card stock. Use the example of the finished card on this page to position little fingerprints on the page to create flowers, butterflies, a frog and a heart to complete the picture. Feel free to add more fingerprint critters and plant life if you wish!

In preparing for this upcoming holiday, download and enjoy this Mother’s Day fingerprint craft template from Cultural Care with your kids!
