Live-in childcare you can trust like family

Au pairs can provide an enriching cultural experience for families while helping working parents pursue their professional goals. Discover some of the many benefits of hosting an au pair.

What is an au pair?

An au pair is a young adult from overseas who lives with your family on a legal visa for up to two years and provides childcare in exchange for a weekly stipend, room and board, and an opportunity to become part of an American family. Over time, an au pair becomes a trusted support for the parents at home, and a beloved and consistent caregiver for your children.

See what our families are saying:

“Having au pairs has allowed our family to learn about new cultures and countries. As working parents, we don’t know what we would have done without having high-quality partners care, teach, and love our children. We are still in touch with all of our au pairs.”

— Flores-Ragade family, CA

“Our au pair Hardjata has changed our family in a highly positive way. She provides laughter, love and friendship. She also provides safety and security to our children. She’s been an amazing big sister to our boys and a great friend to us. We love the diversity and culture she adds to our blended family. As she returns to France to complete her education, we know we will always stay in touch.”

— The Sambou family, IL

“Our children’s lives and our own are better for having an au pair—not just for the childcare. In fact, that is a small part. The experience and the relationship is priceless. Our lives are fuller with our au pair.”

— The Hockycko family, VA
