Our Austin office is located near the bustling heart of downtown filled with a vibrant restaurant scene, local clothing boutiques, street art, and more. The open office concept embraces the free spirit of Austin with a “rodeo” flowing layout. Cambridge, Massachusetts
Located on the Charles river and overlooking the Museum of Science, our Cambridge office is home to most of our U.S. office-based staff. With 360-degree views of the city, the focal point of our new multi-campus U.S. headquarters is an iconic glass-paned structure featuring a steel and glass-cut waterfall cascading down the front of the building. Denver, Colorado

Work full-time from your home-based office in Massachusetts

The Opportunity:
At Cultural Care Au Pair our goal is to be the largest and most trusted au pair program in the world. The Program Manager plays a key role in achieving this goal by focusing on initiatives that will drive quality and growth. The Program Manager will have overall responsibility for all host families and au pair participants in their region; exercising independent judgment and discretion to ensure that the letter and intent of the Department of State regulations are adhered to and providing excellent service and support for both host families and au pairs. You will play a critical role in driving new sales opportunities through your expert advice and guidance on how this program operates in the state of Massachusetts. Additionally, by fostering a strong, engaged community of host families and au pairs you will grow the program through positive brand reputation, with repeat sales opportunities and referrals.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role you will report to Regional Director of Massachusetts, and have the following primary responsibilities:

  • Coaching host families and au pairs on how to be successful on the program and ensure all Department of State regulations are being met, including conducting new and repeat host family interviews, reference checking, orientations, and regular monthly contact.
  • Evaluate suitability of potential host families and leverage a consultative sales approach to drive business results for all new leads.
  • Develop and implement strategies to problem solve when issues arise between a host family and their au pair.
  • Support families and au pairs when issues arise and facilitate new placements by advising host families and au pairs about new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to organize and host community building events for current host family and au pair participants and potential new host families.
  • Provide our host families and au pairs with exceptional customer service and support measured by a regional customer satisfaction score.
  • Generate referrals to meet quarterly sales targets for new families Encourage all families and au pairs to continue on the program and help overcome objections to reach a 70% or higher repeat rate for your region.
  • Provide support for families as they search for and Interview au pair candidates, coordinate and confirm of all au pair matches for both new and repeat families in your region, as well as submit appropriate documentation for au pair and families wishing to extend their time together.

  • Time Management – you are organized and efficient with your time, with a high capacity to accomplish time-sensitive responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Work from your home office in Massachusetts - must live within 60  minutes driving distance of program participants. 
  • The role may require evening and/or weekend hours to meet with program participants
  • There will be travel opportunities approximately 1-2 times a year when safe travel resumes

The Customer Support Representative role gives insight into every aspect of our organization, setting up the right candidate for future growth opportunities within Cultural Care and greater EF. You will use your superior communication skills and timely responsiveness in this highly visible position within our company. Working mostly through phone and email communication, you serve as the primary resource of information and problem solving for our host families, au pairs, contractors and colleagues.  Based in the Boston office with hybrid flexibility. Our hybrid work model with up to two days of work-from-home per week.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Effectively & kindly answer questions and resolve customer needs over the phone and email
  • Identify and implement opportunities to enhance customer experience
  • Engage in team-oriented activities: sharing ideas, giving feedback, and training new hires
  • Prioritize customer needs and set realistic expectations
  • Review documents to make sure we remain in 100% compliance with the US department of State
  • Call and email host families to remind them of program fees, due dates, credits and discounts
  • Responsible for the overall Accounts Receivable aspect of your region

The role:

No two days will ever be the same as we strive to achieve our global goal of being the largest and most trusted au pair program in the world. Monday might have you working on a concept for a new digital ad campaign. Tuesday you may be elbow deep in excel, pulling customer lists, coordinating communications, and reporting on their effectiveness. Wednesday, you are organizing and structuring content in our Intranet's content management system to ensure that staff and customers are always in the know. Thursday might find you responding to questions from our customers and pricing out some branded swag for an up-coming event. Friday you may be helping to set up and host an in-person event for our customers. Whatever the day brings, you have a direct impact in building global families that change the world.

Here is what you bring to the team:

  • Communication is one of your top strengths —both written and verbal.
  • You are energized by working with people and excel at keeping everyone looped in, which will come in handy as you will collaborate across many departments including with your marketing colleagues overseas.
  • You are independent and able to prioritize your work, but also a strong team player who is willing to jump in wherever you're needed.
  • You're a quick learner when it comes to new platforms and tools to improve efficiency.

  • You have 3-5 years of experience juggling a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment.
