Austin, Texas
Our Austin office is located near the bustling heart of downtown filled with a vibrant restaurant scene, local clothing boutiques, street art, and more. The open office concept embraces the free spirit of Austin with a “rodeo” flowing layout. Cambridge, Massachusetts
Located on the Charles river and overlooking the Museum of Science, our Cambridge office is home to most of our U.S. office-based staff. With 360-degree views of the city, the focal point of our new multi-campus U.S. headquarters is an iconic glass-paned structure featuring a steel and glass-cut waterfall cascading down the front of the building. Denver, Colorado

EF Education First is proud to offer a Cooperative Education Program (co-op) in partnership with a student’s college or university, giving students the opportunity to align their academic and future career goals with full time or part time work experience for a select period of time.   EF is currently offering a multitude of co-ops across our travel, language, and education businesses in sales, customer service, operations, finance, and marketing.  Marketing Co-op Cultural Care Au Pair M-F 40 hours per week July – December 2024  About Cultural Care Au Pair Cultural Care Au Pair is a cultural exchange program and is a part of the EF Education First family of companies. We believe that cultural exchange has the power to make the world a more welcoming, understanding, and open place. We build global families by bringing together au pairs with American host families—providing meaningful childcare for families, an unforgettable year in the U.S.A. for au pairs, and a culturally enriching experience for both parties.     The role  The Marketing Co-op will support the team in contributing to social media campaign ideation and creation creating, permissioning and organizing content, assist with customer contests and takeover program and help with other marketing projects as needed.    If you are super organized, have an eye for detail and design, love social media and enjoy juggling a variety of different tasks and projects to meet deadlines, this could be the role for you.    Your responsibilities will include: Content Creation + Management:  
  • Participate in campaign ideation and creation targeted at young people in 25+ markets worldwide
  •  Identify and permission great UGC content on social media
  • Review content submitted through online customer contests and organize as needed
  • Catalog and organize existing photo and video library   
  • Assist with social media takeover program
About you 
  • You are an enthusiastic team player and love to collaborate on projects with peers and team leaders. At the same time, you can work independently toward a clear set of goals.
  • You are extremely organized and adept at learning and using digital tools to get projects completed. You have experience with or an aptitude for learning video editing apps like CapCut and project management systems like Asana or Trello.
  • You love social media, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • You enjoy writing and you’re a strong written and verbal communicator.
  • You strongly believe that cultural exchange makes the world a better place.

We build global families by bringing together international visitors with American host families—providing meaningful childcare for families, an unforgettable year in America for au pairs, and a culturally enriching experience for both parties.   We are proud to be the largest and most experienced au pair organization in the world, having successfully placed more than 120,000 au pairs into welcoming American homes since 1989. Our program is strictly regulated, and our dedicated staff work together to ensure each participant has the experience of a lifetime.   Here at Cultural Care, we are a team of problem-solvers, relationship-builders, and innovators who are constantly thinking about how we can improve our program experience, respond to micro- and macro-level challenges, and stay relevant to our global audiences.   About the role:  You are a natural relationship builder and truly enjoy working with people. If you thrive independently while striving towards a greater team goal and want to play a major role in keeping our cultural exchange program healthy and vibrant for years to come, this job may be perfect for you.   Use your superior communication skills and timely responsiveness in this highly visible position within our company. Working mostly through phone and email communication, you serve as the primary resource of information and problem solving for our host families, au pairs, Local Childcare Consultants (LCCs) and colleagues. You will work directly with our experienced team of LCCs to ensure our program remains compliant with the regulations set forth by the Department of State and ensure our host families uphold their financial responsibilities of the program. With every inquiry, you proactively add value to the overall customer experience by remaining positive and thorough, taking ownership of resolution and anticipating their future needs.   This role gives insight into every aspect of our organization, setting up the right candidate for future growth opportunities within Cultural Care and greater EF.   Who we’re looking for:  
  • A strong communicator: effectively communicate with customers and colleagues on a regular basis. This includes but is not limited to being able to speak to a family about a past due balance, an au pair who needs help with a missed flight or a colleague regarding Department of State regulations that pertain to our program.
  • Strategic thinker: able to organize daily tasks in order to be efficient and deliberate in accomplishing goals.
  • Goal-oriented : motivated to attain weekly, monthly and annual individual and department goals.
  • Flexible: can pivot and adapt quickly to new processes in order to meet company and customer needs.
  • Collaborative: highly skilled in being informative with fellow departments to provide the best overall customer experience.

We build global families by bringing together au pairs with American host families—providing meaningful childcare for families, an unforgettable year in the U.S.A. for au pairs, and a culturally enriching experience for both parties.     The Event Coordinator Co-op is a fast-paced position working at the crossroads of events, customer service and project management. You will play an important role in executing the logistics for a variety of domestic and international events including a series of incentive trips for our local representatives, staff trainings and conferences, and local events for our customers.   The role: Your days will bustle with activity as we strive to achieve our global goal of being the largest and most trusted au pair program in the world.  You’ll spend your time requesting proposals from venues and quotes from vendors to help plan memorable trips and effective conferences and meetings for our independent contractors and staff.  You will help respond to questions from our local representatives and staff, and keep logistics organized for a flawless execution. You may even have the opportunity to attend an event and represent the organization in person.   If you are super organized, have good customer service skills and enjoy juggling a variety of different tasks and projects to meet deadlines, this could be the role for you.    Your responsibilities will include: Communications -  
  • Monitoring and responding to questions and requests from our independent contractors (Local Childcare Consultants, or LCCs)
  • Crafting well-written and impactful communications for event participants
  • Coordinating with venue and vendor contacts throughout the event planning process to achieve event objectives.
Event support -  
  • Request and evaluate venue proposals
  • Coordinate print or swag projects related to local events
  • Review and code expenses to align with our budgets
  • Assist with logistics such as flight manifests, rooming lists, menu and décor coordination and more.
