We know how important the au pair program is for both cultural exchange and childcare, and we understand that even the possibility of new regulations in the future may create uncertainty for some families. While at this time, there are absolutely no changes to existing program regulations or obligations, we’d like to address any immediate concerns that families may have by offering a Peace of Mind policy.
For current and future host families with an au pair arrival date before December 31, 2024, if regulatory changes are both published and implemented during that au pair’s term, resulting in unforeseen increased costs that you are unable to cover, you have the option to leave the program and receive a full refund for your remaining unused weeks. To be eligible for this refund, you must provide Cultural Care Au Pair and your au pair at least 30 days’ notice of your plans to exit the program. Doing so will allow Cultural Care time to find a new host family for your au pair if needed.
